One More Day…

Thank you for another day, Lord. 

It has been a full day.

I got to take the granddaughter to school

I got to take the car to the shop

I got to visit with people at our preschool

I got to make preparation for a leadership day

I got to pay respects to a dear friend that left this life too soon.

I got to hug a bunch of friends and tell them I loved them.

I got to pick up my daughter and granddaughter from school

I got to go to Sonic…for ICE CREAM 

I got to pick up my wife from work

I got to eat dinner with the family

I got to go and set on my deck behind the garage

I got to talk with you Lord!

I got to talk with a person about their soul today.

Lord, I am ready to come, if You were to come back, 

But, I could really use One More Day. 

If I could have One More Day

I could reach One More Soul

I could spread your message to some people that need you.

With One More Day, 

I could bring YOUR love to a hurting world.
I could talk of the PLACE that YOU are preparing for us.

I could cry with those that are hurting,

I could laugh with those that are bring joy.

With One More Day

I WILL be closer to YOU!
