If You Can’t Take the Heat….
I’ve heard this phrase a lot growing up! Those situations when the pressure got so strong, you did not know what to do. Maybe an argument or a conflict with family. It could be that you have had “enough”. How do you handle those moments when “You can’t take the heat”?
Here are a few suggestions….
When in an argument…If it cannot be resolved, take a break, but do not allow it to go unresolved. Remember the soft answer turns away wrath.
When in a situation where the name of someone is being defiled, their reputation is being destroyed. Stand up for them, say something positive don’t let the negative win.
When in a place where only bad things are taking place, simply leave, get out of there. There is NO place for evil in your life.
1 Peter 3:9-12
For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;
let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil
When the stresses get so bad and you don’t know who to turn to, remember God is there, even when others are not, Run to Him, He listens, He cares.
