The day you crawled, stood and walked, you touched my heart.
The day you scraped your knee, you touched my heart.
The day you got out of the car a block from school, you touched my heart.
The day you had your ears pierced, you touched my heart.
The day you learned to drive, you touched my heart.
The day you gave up lunch so another could eat, you touched my heart.
The day you looked for good in other people, and not just yourself, you touched my heart.
The day you called out for me, you touched my heart.
The day you realized you hurt me, you touched my heart.
The day you opened your heart to me, you touched my heart.
The day you were baptized for me, I TOUCHED YOUR HEART.
