It’s time for you to bloom!
The early spring weather has brought the blooming of trees and flowers and oh yes…the grass is growing. as I sit here and watch the one (1) tulip i have in my front yard in the most awkward place I wonder if it will bloom this year?
We have lived in this house for 25 years and last year for the first time it bloomed!
It’s green leafs came out each year and I watched it. Eventually, I would cut it back when the flower would not come out.
I thought about moving it.
I thought about digging it up and getting rid of it.
There were years I never even thought about it and just kept it cut down.
It finally bloomed…
I watched it grow and bud and flower, I got excited .
But then I realized…It was the only flower, by itself, no other flowers with it.
I thought…I will get more and put them with this one.
I will move it with others.
No…
You see this is the ONLY flower like this in my yard. (It’s a Tulip)
It’s in a special place.
I don’t have to search to find it. It’s visible when I open my door.
It brings joy, concern, hope to my whole family. We all look at it every day now.
We anticipate what will come of it!
There is none other like it….even if it is alone, it is useful, powerful, beautiful, encouraging.
It influences.
Now do me a favor, Take out the flower and put YOU in it’s place.

So don’t be afraid to bloom my friend, even by yourself! You will bring JOY to the world!
