To the people that came to the memorial service in Columbia tonight. We felt your love and compassion for our family.
Dale Jenkins, you beautifully stated the spiritual life of my Mother and I thank you for those words that showed her influence not to just our family, but to others in this world.
Chuck Terry, can’t wait to share some dessert with you.
To everyone that brought food and provided for our needs the past few days. I can’t thank you enough.
Oakes and Nichols your expertise and dignity and organization was outstanding for the care of our mother.
To my church family, from around the states. There were genuinely pleasant surprises when you showed up for our visitation.
To the Spring Meadows Church of Christ family – your love that you have shown us is what “family” is about.
To the “Jerry’s Kids” from years past that showed up tonight. My heart was truly touched. I’m sorry that I didn’t get to spend more time with you.
To my Spring Meadows Youth Group you came Monday night just to set with me. You will never know what that meant to me. Then to see you all tonight to honor Mom in your way… I thank God for you.
Tomorrow will be another busy day as we lay Mom to rest. Pray for our day as we spend with family.
