The Road to Sixty – Day 213
Travel Tuesday
Took the time today to travel with Dale Jenkins to the town of Martin, TN. We have a few students in school at UT Martin and we took them to lunch!
They are some pretty awesome young people that show their faith. We laughed as we ate our lunch at The Grind Burgers Mac and Cheese. The food there is pretty phenomenal and if you are ever there I highly recommend it, but do not leave until you try one of their specialty Milk Shakes.
Being in college and be rough and I am thankful that there are great opportunities to build your faith and your friendships like the Skyhawks for Christ Student Center on the Martin campus. It is a ministry of the Martin church of Christ where Ricky Phillips is the Minister and Aaron Dodson is the Youth Minister. Jarrod Bailey is the Campus Minister and not only do they have a great facility they have a great program.
We enjoyed our time with coffee and tour with these gentlemen.
The ride to and there I like to call dream time…(no not sleeping).
Dreaming for the Lords church throughout the world.
Dreaming for the church at Spring Meadows.
We come home encouraged by those we spend time with, it is our prayer that we leave them encouraged also!
I am blessed.
