As many have written about the “One Year” anniversary of the virus, I received an email today.
It was a billing statement for Zoom. You know the video conferencing tool, oh that’s right you do know what I am talking about.
When I first ordered it, I got the free version.. I will never need more than 40 minutes and what would I use it for?
So one year later, I’m still using it. Yes, for some classes for streaming and for recording. The way that I have figured it I have used it at least 4 times per week and multiple times for other recordings. (You can do your own math.)
I think of the ways we had to adapt over the last year, the things that had to change (immediately) and the new ways to keep “in contact” with the congregation.
I am thankful for a group of elder’s that encouraged us to reach out…try new things. Opened the doors for creativity and to serve not just the congregation, but the community as a whole!
I am thankful for a group of servants that brainstormed over gallons of coffee and numerous meals to provide the BEST works for our children, teens and adults.
We are still looking for the BEST thing!
It has been different…but it has been good!
If I listed all of the things that have been done in the Lord’s church, you wouldn’t take the time to read it because the list would be too long.
All I know is though all of this…I choose not to look at the negative, I was encourages a long time ago not to look at problems as problems…just to look at them as opportunities.
I am thankful for the opportunities of yesterday, today and tomorrow if the Lord wills!
Moving onward and upward!!!
