100 Million US citizens were not here…
Many only remember through photos or stories…
Some of us remember like the generation before remembered Pearl Harbor.
And the tears still flow.
From the reading of the names…
The silence of the crowd…
The single tone coming from the ringing of the bell.
And the tears still flow.
The photos of people from all cultures of life…
A single structural beam remaining for us to see and touch…
Families still looking for justice…
And the tears still flow.
Hurting Hearts, trying to heal, that never will..
Searching for peace…
Seeking…
And the tears still flow.
Many of us will bow our heads…
We will remember that day…
Praying it never happens again…
And OUR tears will still flow.
Remember…
