The Road to Sixty – Day 170
Had the opportunity to take my Mother-in-law to visit her brother.
It was the first time they have seen each other since both of them have lost their spouses.
His passed away on September 8 and Father-in-law on October 31.
It was good for them to be together. To shed their tears and to comfort each other. It was good to just set and listen to stories that they told.
An interesting fact that came out was that 3 siblings all married the same year and all of them have lost their mates this years.
I know that this has been especially hard on all of them. But their faith will keep them strong as they lean on each other.
New Years Eve is coming! We will see what it brings!
